What a sad week. First, the death of Senator Kennedy, then the tragic loss of Weymouth police officer and Iraq veteran Michael Davey, and then the death of EMC founder Dick Egan. The Passing of Senator Kennedy…
My wife and I were on our way to Ohio Wednesday morning to attend freshman orientation at Denison University when we flipped on the TV and heard the news about Senator Kennedy. Although I served as Treasurer of the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy prior to pursuing this new challenge I’ve embarked on – and spent 20 years in and around government and health care in Massachusetts – I didn’t know the Senator very well. Appreciation for Minor League Baseball…
The MA Republican Party held three gatherings in the past few days at minor league baseball games around Massachusetts. I managed to make it to two of them – Brockton and Lowell. And while it’s always fun to catch up with my friends in the Party, I want to especially congratulate Party Leaders for choosing to re-introduce me to the joys of minor league baseball. (more…)

Talking In Springfield About Red Sox Nation…
