What a sad week. First, the death of Senator Kennedy, then the tragic loss of Weymouth police officer and Iraq veteran Michael Davey, and then the death of EMC founder Dick Egan. The Passing of Senator Kennedy…
My wife and I were on our way to Ohio Wednesday morning to attend freshman orientation at Denison University when we flipped on the TV and heard the news about Senator Kennedy. Although I served as Treasurer of the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy prior to pursuing this new challenge I’ve embarked on – and spent 20 years in and around government and health care in Massachusetts – I didn’t know the Senator very well.
